Quantum Computing Hardware and Super Conducting Circuits | Qiskit Global Summer School 2023

Olivia will go over the basics of superconducting circuits, including the ones used by IBM called the transmon. We will discuss circuit QED, dispersive read-out, quantum-limited amplifiers and quantum circuit elements. The audience will walk away knowing what a “real qubit” looks like, how to measure one, and their basic building blocks.
