Beginner Series, Martillo Rhythm Improvisations for The Bongos

Continuing with the bongo beginner series we begin to improvise within the Martillo Rhythm. Here we have the most basic improvisation with just two notes (rim shots) played over two measures. This is just the start of many more to come as we will continue to take the Martillo rhythm to another level. These improvisations can also be used to develop a bongo solo aside from the Martillo rhythm!
