“Along with the Record Store Day exclusive “Sais“, this other new Floating Points single has started to become a staple of BBC DJ Benji B’s sets over the last week. Luckily, Floating Points aka Sam Shepard posted some quality previews of the the upcoming single and the b-side “Faruxz“ last week, and both tracks sound like part of another big step in the young DJ’s style progression. “Marilyn“ holds a more house-y, upbeat vibe like some of his earlier tracks, while the b-side takes on more of an ambient feel than we’ve heard from him in the past.
