Why did the elephant seal cross the road?

Officers in California had an unusual day at work when they had to help redirect an elephant seal to safety after it wandered to the wrong side of the road. Policemen blocked the road and waved red floatation devices to shepherd the animal back to the beach. Report by Lily Thomas.
