Wood burning Shou sugi ban Wood staining with torch , Decoupage on wood ,crate organizer

Wood staining or wood burning with torch is one easy way to get distressed edges and vintage using torch only selected grains of wood get dark which highlighted and give depth to the wood after that colours or wax can be done... In this project I made a crate with pure wood,as this technique is not done on mdf or any artificial I burned the edges only so and applied wax on sides only keeping the centre that I used rice paper and add floral motive ,to get the patch mergesd I used acrylic colours and blend the edges of the napkin with the base wood,so that napkin or rice paper shouldn’t looks like a pasted patch ...I seal the whole using modpodge on napkin and by waxing the wood ,I also added wooden embellishments,which are easily available at craft stores or at hardware shops. In this video I just tried to teach how to decoupage directly on burned wood and how to merge the napkin, so that it looks like a blended floral painting... for more craft visit. h
