A day at the lake with Henry and Inukshuk

A whole day of swimming, playing, floating, snacking on bullrushes, and more with polar bears Henry and Inukshuk. They live in Cochrane Ontario at the Cochrane Polar Bear Habitat, the largest facility for captive polar bears in the world. 💦 This lake is entirely enclosed for them to enjoy all year long. It provides them with a near-wild environment of water and, in the winter, an ice platform to roam and stomp on. 💙 The Habitat staff aims to educate others about polar bears, encourage the protection of their fragile environment, and foster a connection with this unique species. 🐻‍❄️ Learn more about polar bears, book a trip to see them in person, and donate towards their mission online at
