What are Those Bulging Eyes?

Blunthead Tree Snake (Imantodes cenchoa) from the Rainforest of Yasuni National Park, Ecuador. This blunt-headed tree snake looks like a cartoon thanks to their huge, bulging eyes which take up to a 1/4 of the length of its head. Imantodes are long and slim (up to ), delicate and live in trees.
