Snippets of this song were played in Danny Phantom’s “Fanning the Flames“ episode, which aired in 2004. Since the day it aired, all that was released was a stripped down mix from both Nickelodeon and Butch Hartman. The track was horribly degraded. Vocals and instruments had little to no reverb and was as if the music was playing in a glass box. Fans have desperately awaited the true version of this song for almost ten years. Still to this day, little is known about the production of this song. It saddens me that this was locked away from the public for this long. Subtle things are present that were missing in the “Butch-ered“ mix. Everything is so crystal clear. I don’t know that the version on the cartoon was ever completed. There was only a little of the song used. The version I did was completed though. The “Remember“ song reminded me of a 50’s/ 80’s/ Go-Go’s song. It was a total kick to sing. Intimate and powerful at the same time. I am so happy that people feel a connection and are fond of it!
