Bird flu detected in person exposed to dairy cattle in the US | The World

A person in Texas has been diagnosed with bird flu, after presumably coming into contact with infected dairy cows. It follows milk testing positive for the virus in two US states last week, and after it was also found among penguins on the sub-Antarctic island of South Georgia last month.
