Dream Team Prototype Car FAIL

This 1950’s 1.5 million dollar prototype has chromed fiberglass, advanced chassis and body design, nautical themed interior, and a surprise rear engine. The 1 of 1 “Paxton Phoenix“ was the brainchild of Robert Paxton McCulloch, founder of Paxton Superchargers and McCulloch Chainsaws. He brought in Brooks Stevens, Hoffman Engineering, and “The King of Steam“ Abner Doble to build this car, but things didn’t go as planned for the dream team.
