Jennifer Hudson singing “The Gospel Truth II” from Disney’s “Hercules.” Hudson played Calliope, the Head Muse, on the Disney Wonder cruise ship, before she came to fame on American Idol in 2004. Though Calliope doesn’t sing this section in the film, Hudson’s Calliope sang it in “Hercules: The Muse-ical.” This clip is an excerpt from a musical theatre medley, in which Jennifer revisited meaningful songs from her career to commemorate her 2022 Tony win.
