Big Sur CA Condors ~ STUNNING Close-ups Of Condor Chick #1031 All Tucked In & Napping!

#1031 is seen sleeping all tucked in first thing in the morning! You can barely see its head as it sleeps like a big chick now at 49 days old. We got some stunning closeups of #1031 napping and amazing to see the sun highlighting its eye! Thank you for watching! This nest is located inside a coast redwood snag in Big Sur, California. The nest area is about 5 feet in diameter and is situated 60 feet above the ground. Due to the massive size of the tree, scientists believe it could be over 1000 years old!
