Attackers set fire to themselves in bungled arson attempt

An arsonist accidentally set himself alight as he tried to start a fire in a corner shop. CCTV footage shows three men charging into Zaf’s GoLocal store in Manchester before pouring fuel on the floor and trying to ignite it. As they do so, one of the men, who was holding the canister of petrol, manages to set himself on fire. Footage taken outside the shop then shows the man struggling to extinguish the blaze as he ran away with his two accomplices. The owner, who gave his name as Zaf, said his two brothers were working in the shop at the time of the attack. #arson #fire #manchester
