GAME RECAP: Penguins at Boston () | An Eventful Evening

Traveling to Boston, the Pittsburgh Penguins took on the Bruins. Much like the Penguins’ last game, they gave up a goal in the first minute by Brad Marchand. But the 1st period was an eventful one and the Penguins didn’t let their early setback stop them. Drew O’Connor and Ryan Graves scored within minutes of each other to take the lead. David Pastrnak tied the game quickly after but Jake Guentzel Got a goal of his own to take the lead. Later in the period, Lars Eller also got a goal to end the period 4-2 for the Penguins. Jeff Carter started the 2nd period with a goal. But the Bruins were starting their comeback. Morgan Geekie and Jake DeBrusk both getting goals. The lead was now only 5-4 for the Penguins. Marchand tied the game with a goal early in the 3rd. Sidney Crosby rose to the occasion and got the win for the Penguins with his goal halfway through the 3rd.
