Colombo - Sri Lanka - Heartfelt Walk in Kotte - Rajagiriya

Colombo, Sri Lanka, the outskirts of the Rajagiriya - Kotte. An unforgettable walk! I am glad that I went deep into the district behind these tall rich towers with vertical gardens. What is happening behind them impressed me much more. Of all my walks in Sri Lanka, I consider this one to be the most powerful. I came to this part of Colombo to take a closer look at this tall tower with vertical gardens, it’s the tallest vertical garden in the world. Then I decided to go further and enter the quarter of private houses. I went through it and was impressed by the smiles of the children and the good nature of the adults. This area is called Kotuwegoda. It’s located on the northern outskirts of the capital of Sri Lanka, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte, intersecting with the Rajagiriya district. Geographically, it is a suburb of Colombo, but who knows where Colombo ends? Maybe on the other side of the island! The walk ends at a Buddhist Temple Wewakarama Purana Viharaya - Wedagewatta Rd, Sri Jayawardenepura Kotte. Rains and downpours in Sri Lanka ________ In my films, I try to show what I really like, nature, people, life, and share it with the viewer. I like to travel, explore the world and the elements. Look behind the scenes of cities and face the wind and freedom in the wild. I love what I see and feel when I’m on the road. And I would like to share this with those who are also close to the voice of the road and an active lifestyle.
