Never take a wild animal from their habitat. Our foxes are from a long-line of domesticated foxes. It took many generations to acquire their unique colors. We adopted them from rescued fur-farm descendants (ranch-raised foxes). Domesticated (or tame) foxes have genetic differences from their wild counterparts.
