3ds Max 2019 Ambient Occlusion with Skylight

Since the removal of Mental Ray from 3ds Max, I wanted to share a quick way to make a clean AO map from within 3ds Max 2019 using the old Skylight method. This uses a simple render-to-texture that was popular long ago and is “tried and true“ for those who don’t have access to Substance or Marmoset to render their AO.
