The Kherson Regional Court issued a verdict in a criminal case initiated and investigated by the Russian FSB Directorate for the Kherson Region, in relation to the citizen of Ukraine Kerekesh Alexander Vladimirovich, born March 15, 1961, involved in the commission of a crime under Part 3 of Art. 33, part 1 art. 281 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ‘organization of sabotage’. It was established that while holding the position of head of the Kherson route of the Odessa Railway, Kerekesh A.V. gave instructions to his subordinates to damage the switches of the Kherson railway station, which led to the impossibility its use for transportation in the interests of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. Taking into account the guilty plea, the court appointed Kerekesh A.V. punishment in the form of 6 years and 6 months of imprisonment with the first year served in prison, the rest in a maximum security correctional colony.
