Hard Reset Redux Full gameplay Walkthrough (Full Game)
Hard Reset Redux is a tribute to the good old solo FPS in the vein of a Duke Nukem or a Quake. No multiplayer, cooperation or open world in this old school title but just twelve levels to cross the gun in hand to unsolder the machines that cross our path and from time to time a larger boss. All the panoply of the old school is there: the points of life which can be recharged only with care kits, the secret passages hiding resources, the weapons which all fit in the pocket without having to choose only two, the enemies that fall on us as a group and the sets full of explosive barrels and electric terminals to be gunned down to do area damage. The only element that refers to the standards of the 21st century is the presence of a bar of experience delivering skill points to spend in kiosks dotted around the alleys. These dispensers allow you to buy new weapons, upgrades for them and accessories for our guy like a scanner, a survival module, a medical module, a shield beam or a capacitor.
the Redux adventure retains the strengths and weaknesses of the original game. The graphic redesign never pierces the screen to give us the long-awaited slap despite the use of the Roadhog Engine. And yet this Hard Reset Redux revives our reflexes born on Doom & Co. and with them our desire to do battle against a horde of enemies whose emaciated corpses pile up at our feet under a shower of cartridges and plasma.
