Russian man may have broken world record for longest under-ice swim

Forty-year-old swimming coach Igor Azhikin might have set a new record for the longest under-ice swim in one breath by diving some 100 metres (328 ft) in icy waters in Shchyolkovo in Moscow region on Saturday. The freediver could be seen in the footage, preparing before entering the carved-out section and diving the whole distance.
