Using simple block colours and an appropriate shade you can paint large numbers of infantry quickly and effectively using any miniatures appropriate to the winter months in the European Theater of Operations. This US infantry miniature comes from Artizan Designs, which I’ve chosen for their slightly chunkier proportions and more exaggerated details; it takes a lot to knock the barrel off these Garand rifles!
One thing that I didn’t mention due to it not appearing on this miniature is the matter of webbing! At this late stage in the war you’d probably find most US infantry with green webbing and pouches (I’d use Vallejo Pastel Green for this) although it'
