Sassy Pinup Speed Painting (week 19) by Drake Pinup

This week had to be a quick one and I was able to create it in under an hour and fifteen minutes. Between the unreal deadlines that are racing toward me at the office, a Mothers day weekend, and the fact that I started P90x this week, it needed to get done and I had to fit this in after a grueling workout. being a designer/artist means that I dont get away from my computer or out of meetings very often so I am extremely sore from these workouts and luckily I can still draw even though I can barely lift my arms. The technique this week is a mix of the style that I used on week 15 but then added a fake vector look by using the lasso to draw shapes over the top and then paint into those selections to define a few edges. I like the mix of loose abstract gestures with crisp edges for transitions and focus.
