Linkin Park - Given Up | Cover by Victor Borba & The Sea Upon Us

Welcome to my almost 3k new subs! Seriously this is all so unreal, as you can imagine, and I’m grateful for all the support. Thought to give my first video with this whole new circumstance here to be a challenge for myself, and another collab with The Sea Upon Us. I’ve actually been putting off doing a cover of this one for almost 3 years now. The high powerful notes in the chorus and the 17 second scream were quite daunting to me, but upon getting behind the mic, it really wasn’t too bad :) Face your fears: this is the moral of this story! Just to recap what I talk about in the outro (forgive how monotone I sound, I just woke up xD) I’m reaaaally near 10k subs now, so my plan is to schedule a livestream (WILL BE ON: SUNDAY, OCTOBER 4th, 2PM EST) to analyze my 8-year self-taught singing progress video to give additional insight at what I was doing / what I discovered at every point in order to improve. That’ll be fun for me to dive back in time, and very useful to singers l
