Notion: Note Entry Basics

A composition without notes would be quite boring! To add notes, choose your voice, mouseover your palette, and choose the Note icon, third from left. You’ll be presented with notes of every imaginable duration. Once selected, you can enter your notes directly on the staff with simple clicks. Note duration options can also be accessed via keyboard shortcuts, and pressing “d“ will dot any note entered.
