This performance given at the Sage Gateshead by Cory Band under the direction of Robert Childs formed part of Cory’s 2008 Brass in Concert programme which saw the reigning European Champions and World No.1 Ranked Band crowned Brass in Concert Champions for the first time in their history. Here Louis Prima’s Sing Sing Sing is arranged & edited by Dan Price & Barry Forgie providing a real feature for Cory’s 2008 percussion team. Dave Danford leads the way on kit, before Alun Horgan, Simon Brittlebank & Gavin Pritchard join with some virtuoso bar stool playing!
