The Scenery was taken from the Hotel Eremo Gaudio Varenna and the surrounding area. The Hotel is situated above the centre of Varenna, surrounded by woods, it has a mild climate and a beautiful position overlooking the centre of the Lake of Como. Varenna is a comune on Lake Como in the Province of Lecco in the Italian region Lombardy. The lake is shaped much like the character “Y“. Lake Como is one of the most beautiful lakes in Italy.
