Symmetry, in theory | CERN-Solvay Education

This Teaching Tuesday, we delve into theoretical physics and learn about group theory – the scientific language of symmetry, paramount to particle physics, but also to the study of molecules or crystals. We investigate the symmetries of simple geometric shapes, and use them as a stepping stone to grasp the symmetries of the laws of physics which govern the Universe.
