My Vintage Doll Collection

For doll lovers... This slideshow originally started out as a cataloguing project for insurance purposes, but then the idea grew into something a bit more fun. As I add to the collection, this will just grow and grow. I suspect one day I’ll contrive a whole docudrama with a cast of hundreds. Some of these dolls are in the process of being restored or preserved, ie: hair re-roots, fixing the paint and crazing in the composition, re-setting the wigs, etc. They don’t make them like this any more - and with my love of vintage things, I want to do what I can to keep these dolls around for a long time.
