A live, semi-improvised jam, performed entirely on hardware.
While it probably won’t appeal to some who have solutions for sequencing, effects, and mixing already, the Circuit Tracks is basically the perfect place to start a live hardware setup. It gives you plenty to begin making music, and it scales well as you add other hardware to your setup. Here, I’ve got it sequencing the SH-01a and Volca Keys, and adding effects to these synths. For the melody, I’m playing the Reface CS.
Once again, I set out to make a jam that used (mostly) entry-level gear with the Circuit Tracks at the centre. My hope is that it’s clear that you don’t need the fanciest gear to have fun making music.
