Making A Winter Home

For many years I spent winter wishing it away. All season long I would buy imported, out-of-season flowers from the grocery store to arrange around the house, in hopes that I could ignore the cold and lack of growth outside. While these flowers were beautiful, it created a sense of unease in my soul, because my actions were so out of rhythm with the current season. This is not how we were created to live. God tells us that “For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven…a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted…” (Ecclesiastes 3). Winter is here for a reason. While it may be long, dark, and oftentimes hard to endure, without it, the beauty of spring would be harder to recognize. We need contrast in life. Light and dark. Cold and warm. These past few years I have been learning how to embrace winter and the beauty of making a winter home. *I regret the years I wasted at war with winter, because I see its beauty and necessity now.* Join me as I say goodbye to the holiday season and prepare my home for winter, embracing everything it brings along the way. ❄️✨🕯🧹 sweaters similar to mine: cozy knit blankets utility scissors: sewing machine: =as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=kaetlynkenn03-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B00JBKVN8S&linkId=a385fdf5b2bc5c54dd93ee7105d3443b label maker: =as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=kaetlynkenn03-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B0000AQOD3&linkId=345ea598f05fd26df15e81731567baf4 my bible: =as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=kaetlynkenn03-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=1433531917&linkId=6678c7647e4de8e836ac49d494e2474d ❄️I N S T A G R A M - ✨P I N T E R E S T- 🍄S P O T I F Y- 🕯W E B S I T E- ⭐️C O N T A C T- hello@ 🧦 WHERE I GET MY MUSIC: ☕️ SONGS USED: Winter Warm by Frank Jonsson Hibernia Sleep by Daniel Kaede Quiet Steps by Kasper Schill For Jack by Arden Forest 🌷FAQ🌷 I am 22 years old I am fully self-employed I use this camera to film: =as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=kaetlynkenn03-20&camp=1789&creative=9325&linkCode=as2&creativeASIN=B00T3ER7QO&linkId=cb93f5d871100caf3b081478222df5ca I use Final Cut Pro to edit: I learned the basics back in high school when I took a film class, and now I use Skillshare to learn anything new!
