Create a Simple, Stylish Wallpaper in Photoshop

The techniques used in this video should be possible in all versions of Photoshop from CS2 to CS6 and CC. In addition to using some tricks similar to the ones used in the Surreal Cutout video, we also look at how to create simple patterns.
