Deine Lakaien - One Night (Official Video)

Dear music friends and fans, after the two “Gone“ videos, the concept for “One Night“ was also implemented in the black and white aesthetics typical of the “Indicator“ album. I will never forget how much I had to prepare rather unusually for this shoot. Our dear art director JG Geldermann had thought of shooting the clip backwards, so I also had to somehow learn to sing the song backwards as well because lip-synchronicity was of course required. A seemingly endless shoot, until late at night, with strange fire gimmicks that luckily nobody noticed and did not cause us any further trouble. But in the end, these men came in their white jackets, and they kindly took me away. Or how did that go again ?! The result to us, even from today’s point of view, is still quite remarkable, and it is a shame that we did not realize a suitable counterpart to the German version, “Bei Nacht“.
