Painting ’Grimdark’: Transfers, Chipping, and Oil Washes
Here’s a tutorial on how to get that gritty style with a minimum of highlighting and shading, letting washes and weathering do most of the work. I’m using a Forge World Mechanicum Thanatar, part of the Horus Heresy range by Games Workshop.
