Joe South, along with Jerry Reed, Tony Joe White and Creedence were like a breath of fresh (country) air in the late sixties. This is one of my favourite Joe South tracks. Forget the Deep Purple and Kula Shaker versions (although i like them)...this is the dog’s nether regions
