This zoom video sequence begins with a wide view of the large constellation of Hercules. As we zoom in we start to see a faint swarm of distant galaxies. These form the Hercules galaxy cluster, one of the youngest and most unusual of such clusters in the nearby Universe. The final image shows a very detailed view of this cluster from the VST telescope, the latest telescope at ESO’s Paranal Observatory in Chile.
