The island is divided into 3 areas: Marina Grande, with the main port, Capri, which we are visiting now, and Anacapri, the highest village on the island. Since the second half of the 19th century, Capri has gradually become one of the most popular resorts in southern Italy, famous for its magnificent scenery. Our guided walking tour is about 2.1 miles (3.5 km) long, starts at Umberto I Square (La Piazzetta) and covers most attractions and historic sites of Capri.
