This is a cool little song/lesson for introducing multiple percussion instrumental lines in a music class/group setting. Each line is designed to be simple and easy to remember, but in putting it all together, the players will soon find that they have to listen and work together to keep it going.
This song uses the Hand Drum, Cow Bell, Maracas, Claves, and Guiro, however, once you know how to play the base song, feel free to modify it by either substituting instruments or rearranging the order of which instrument starts first. Or if you really want to have some fun, have students lead and conduct as the group plays the arrangement.
