Today, on day 257 of my sobriety journey, I dive into life, Norway, and my beliefs. Yesterday’s performance by Aurora and Jacob Collier unlocked deep emotions, leading to an internal flow of reflection. Norway, in particular, holds a significant place in my story—it was a key part of me finding my biological family and ultimately moving to Sri Lanka.
Aurora’s live performance of “A Soul with No King“ truly resonates with me. It’s an incredible track that embodies so much of what I love about her music—her voice, her energy, and the emotions she conveys. I’ve been a fan for a long time, but I stopped listening for a while due to personal reasons. Now, re-engaging with her music brings back a lot of positive feelings and memories. Aurora’s music feels like coming home.
