My favorite scenes from the Beatles’ first movie, A Hard Day’s Night, filmed in 1964. The screenplay was written by Alun Owen and the movie was directed by Richard Lester. The cast includes Wilfrid Brambell as Paul’s Grandfather, Norman Rossington as Norm the manager, John Junkin as Shake the road manager, Richard Vernon as the man on the train, and Patricia Boyd (George’s wife-to-be) as a schoolgirl.
