D Scarlatti, Sonata in A major K182 “Dissonance“ in a Live Recital by Lena Jacobson

One of those dare-devil sonatas where Scarlatti seems to put our ears to test. I happen to have nicknamed this excercise by Maestro Scarlatti “Dissonance“. Another nickname that comes to mind would be “Piano-teacher’s Nightmare“... The harpsichord heard here is tuned to Bradley Lehman’s “Bach Temperament“. The live unedited recording was made during a recital.
