I wanted to start obviously with a huge note of respect for “Ably House.“ I almost didn’t cover this, their cover is so good (see here: ). They did a great job picking out those buried Paul noodles, and their transcription of the bass part - again, surprisingly complex - is stellar. I think my biggest contribution to the mountain of “Ticket To Ride“ tributes is the rhythm guitar. In perhaps one the most notable deviations from the record vs. live performances, I found that John alternated between the A and D chords during the verse.
