France: Protesters decry COVID-19 measures in Paris

The demonstration was organised by the ’Angry Paris’ group and saw people marching from Port-Royal station to the Andre Citroen quai. Protesters were seen holding French flags as they marched while being monitored by police. “We want to go to class and live our life normally,“ university student Clement said. France remains under a state of curfew with residents ordered to remain at home between the hours of 18:00 and 06:00 (17:00 to 05:00 GMT), while during the day people are instructed to limit social contacts as much as possible and to maintain social distancing at all times, while mask wearing is mandatory in situations where distancing isn’t possible.
