Since the Global War on Terrorism, Military Working Dogs have played a crucial role within Special Operations. Known as Multi-Purpose Canines, They’re dedicated, fearless and highly trained warfighters capable of operating in the most extreme and austere conditions. Less than 1% of all Military Working Dogs are selected for Special Operations. Unlike conventional single-purpose Military Working Dogs, Special Operations K9s specialize in multiple roles, including target tracking and apprehension, bomb detection, crowd control and detecting hidden threats.
