The 1968 Tele is constructed of Ash with a maple neck and still has the original neck pickup. The fretboard is constructed of rosewood. The 2011 Tele is constructed of Alder with a maple neck and fretboard. It is heavier in weight and a touch thicker in body depth than the 1968 Tele. Recorded with an SM57 on a VOX AC30C2.
