Almost too close for digiscoping! High alternate cormorants are incredibly beautiful! I’m not absolutely sure about this, but I interpreted this behavior as being a male sending the message, “Look at me! Look at this great nest I’ve created! Come mate with me!“ The video was taken with a 65mm Leica Televid, Leica D-Lux 4, and D-Lux 4 digiscoping adapter in La Jolla Cove, California.
