This video presents the history of political borders of the Eastern Roman Empire also called Byzantine Empire. This video does not display the vassal countries of the Empire, the latter being displayed as Byzantine territory. The video begins around 290 during the Tetrarchy and ends with the fall of the Empire of Trebizond in 1462 by the Ottomans.
