Exploring Scotland’s Chernobyl | The Clune Park Estate

Exploring the post apocalyptic streets of the Clune Park Estate. This high density housing estate was a bustling community in the 1920s, 100 years on and its deserted and dilapidated, a center for crime and violence. A total of 430 flats sit dormant within the squalid 4 storey blocks. We make our way past smashed windows, burnt out rooms, torn down walls and the remnants of former residents belongings sprawled across the floors. Just 20 people still reside here on the estate, despite being warned the flats are no longer safe for human habitation, the cheap rent prices mean that this ghost town, likened to Ukraines Chernobyl, is not all bad for some.
