On 2 March 2005, Radio 2 DJ Steve Wright made the Queen laugh mischievously during a reception held at Buckingham Palace. Upon introfucing himself to the Queen, Steve Wright managed to describe his job in such a way as to make a wide grin break out across the Queen’s face, before prompting her to tell him his work sounded “very naughty“. For a master of Radio, Steve Wright knew how to create a priceless moment of television. Steve Wright has sadly died aged 69, his family have announced.
