Full title reads: “ARMISTICE DAY - OUR GLORIOUS DEAD“. London. Top shot - Troops and veterans lined up around the Cenotaph for the Armistice Day ceremony. Procession of priests approaching. Several shots of the King George VI, Queen Elizabeth (later Queen Mother) and Queen Mary arriving with several other people - Home Secretary Sir Samuel Hoare is with them. King approaches the Cenotaph, salutes and places wreath at its base. Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain, Clement Attlee and several other men standing in line looking on. Minute of silence is broken by a man running through the troops towards the King - security men stop and overpower him. The footage of an incident is shown twice. Queen Elizabeth and Queen Mary are seen with their preyer books in hands - singing. Several shots of the disabled men, many in wheelchairs. King salutes, leaves Cenotaph and goes to lay another wreath at the base of memorial to Earl Haig unveiled two days earlier. Several shots of a long line of people waiting to lay flowers at Cenotaph.
