Requiem – Dedication to Freedom (Lisa Batiashvili)

This clip, which was shot on the Maidan in Kiev, the site of November 2013’s uprising, is of a piece by Georgian/Ukrainian composer Igor Loboda entitled “Requiem – Dedication to Freedom.” It is dedicated to the people who lost their lives in the pursuit of freedom and democracy – in Ukraine and elsewhere.
